U.S. Men’s Update: Priddy to Appear on TV Show

Reid Priddy (Richmond, Va.) will be one of the professional athletes featured on The Real Winning Edge on Nov. 14 and 15 on television stations around the country.

The Real Winning Edge is a TV program that profiles youth and college athletes in various sports and has professional/elite athletes do the introductions.

Priddy will introduce volleyball player Julie Finley, who plays at Malone University in Canton, Ohio. Finley was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2008 and has battled back to continue to play.

Also in this week’s update, Lloy Ball is quoted on his Russian team’s performance at the World Club Championship in Qatar and news from various international volleyball leagues.

USAV Offers Beach Coaching Courses at AVCA Convention

USA Volleyball will be offering a Beach Coaching Accreditation Program (BCAP) along with its regular CAP courses in conjunction with the AVCA Annual Convention set for Dec. 16-19 at Tampa, Fla.

The BCAP courses will take place during the convention and on the Sunday following (Dec. 20).
