RR900  Visualisation and control of solder fume exposure

Colophony or Rosin Based Solder Flux is a known cause of occupational asthma and as such exposure to it should be controlled.  In order to assess different LEV systems, against no system at all, personal exposure to fume was measured, and systems evaluated for their effectiveness.
The full report and findings can be found at the attached link.

RPE website

The HSE Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) website has now been launched and is available for use.
